One night, I told my sister that I wanted to make crepes in the morning, so that night, we went to the store at 10pm, got all the ingredients and made the batter before we went to sleep. The batter does have to sit in the fridge for a bit before making your crepes, so make sure you account for that if you make it. This recipe is SERIOUSLY so easy and equally as delicious, so let’s get baking!
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 6 Tbsp. melted butter
Toppings:
- Nutella
- Whipped Cream
- Strawberries
- Bananas
- Any other fruits you want to add! (We added pineapple)
How to Make:
- Take all of your ingredients, throw them in a blender, and blend it up!
- It’s best to let the batter sit overnight in the fridge or at least 1 hour before cooking your crepes.
- Heat a heavier pan on the stovetop at medium heat.
- When heated, either spray with cooking spray or melt a little butter to wet the pan and make sure your crepe doesn’t stick. (I use butter!)
- Take a 1/4 cup measuring cup and fill it with your batter.
- Pour the batter in the middle of the pan and tilt pan until the batter covers the bottom.
- Cook for about 1 minute or until light brown
- Flip crepe over by lifting with a spatula (and maybe using your fingers to help the spatula along).
Put it all together!
Cut up fruit into bite-sized pieces. Spread Nutella over half the crepe. Line up fruit in the middle of the crepe and then roll it up. Top with whipped cream and any other toppings you enjoy (we added chocolate syrup last minute because, why not?).
